Cherokee Trail Elementary is honored to have been recognized by the National Beta Club as a School of Distinction for the 2023-24 year. Last year, the Jr. Beta Club at Cherokee Trail was led by Mrs. Angie Nickles and had 19 members who participated in various service projects including a Thanksgiving food drive and a pet supply drive for the Abbeville Humane Society. Members of the Jr. Beta Club are selected based on academic achievement, good character, leadership skills, and community service.
