Please help me give a warm congratulations to our 2026 Teaching Fellows:
Claire Davis and Rachel Prescott. 
For those of you unfamiliar with the Teaching Fellows Program: CERRA sponsors fellowship programs at 14 post-secondary institutions across the state. All Fellows are provided $24,000 scholarships to attend the institution and are a part of an elite cohort of future educators. Throughout the Fellowship experience, students are provided with early placements, specialized professional development, mentorship and other supports which empower them to serve the students of SC public schools.
Both of these young ladies, majoring in Elementary Education, will be attending Anderson University in the fall as Fellows. This is a prestigious honor-- as only 250 Fellowships are awarded to seniors across the state. I am so excited for both of them and for our state! We are gaining two phenomenal educators.
