"Dixie High students, grades 8th through 12th, participated in a career expo through "Be Pro Be Proud SC" that focused on introducing them to skilled trades such as welding, heavy equipment operating, electrician, truck driving and much more. Students received important hands-on experience in these fields through operating advanced simulators. This event was very beneficial for our students who not only learned about the needs of skilled labor in the state of South Carolina but had a blast while doing so. Be Pro Be Proud SC is an enlightening and engaging experience and invaluable for Dixie High School as we continue to encourage students to pursue learning relative skills and staying driven toward success in their vocation."
