Dear Students and Parents, Dixie High School is excited to welcome everyone to the 2024-2025 school year! This year is particularly special as we welcome seventh-grade students to campus and celebrate the opening of our new academic wing. We are pleased to inform you that the latest construction updates indicate that the school will be ready by the beginning of next week. However, to ensure everything is fully prepared, we will need a few days to install technology, move into the new building, and train our staff on safety procedures. To accommodate this preparation time, we will schedule two days of e-learning at the end of the week. Schedule for the First Week: Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31: All students (grades 7-12) will report to school as scheduled. Students will report to the existing school. During these first two days, teachers will assist students in getting online and prepared for e-learning. Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2: Students in grades 7-12 will not report to school. Instead, they will complete online assignments from home, following the district's e-learning guidelines. Career Center students are the one exception. These students are expected to report to the Career Center at their scheduled time. They can drive their own vehicle, have a parent drop them off, or utilize district bus transportation. Students choosing to ride the bus will receive normal bus transportation and be picked up and dropped off at their normal bus stop. Students may drive to Dixie, park, and ride the Career Center bus. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for Career Center students. Monday, August 5: Classes begin in the new academic building! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we make these necessary adjustments to ensure a smooth start to the school year. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you, and we look forward to a fantastic school year!

Flyer for Orientation
On-site registration will be held tomorrow from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. However, we strongly suggest parents register online at home because there will only be limited parking available at Dixie due to construction issues. Parents can park in the back parking lot between the school and the football field or at Erskine in the parking log behind Moffatt Dining hall. The district uses the parent portal for registration and requires that all returning students register through the portal which means that even on-site registration must be completed online. If you would like to register your student at home but don't have your parent portal login information or have questions, please contact the school. We will be happy to help you access your account. Fees can be paid through eFunds or on the first day of school. During on-site registration, we will not be giving out schedules, parking passes, supply lists, yearbooks, lockers, or tours of the building.
